- MILEAGE. Unlimited mileage. |
| - INSURANCE. Basic insurance cover with "deducible". This means that the hirer will be liable to pay a first, minimum amount in the event of a claim. This amount will be made clear before the hirer signs to take the car and is usually the first USD500 or thereabouts. |
| - ARGENTINA. If you are thinking of taking the car over the border in to Argentina you will need a PERMIT This will cost money, usually around USD100 to USD150 for the car and is valid for a set time which must be stipulated on the permit documents. It usually takes two to three weeks to get the permit organised prior to travel across the border. |
| - DROP OFF. If you drop the vehicle off at a city other than the city of pick up there will be a drop off fee applied. The amount of this fee depends on the car type and the distance between the pick up and drop off places. |
| - LICENSE. A full, valid driving license from the country of origin is acceptable, however HERTZ also demands an International Driving Licence. |

- AGE. The MINIMUM age the driver must be at time of rental is 22 yrs but in the case of AVIS it is 25 yrs.
